Innovative work in Northamptonshire showcased at international conference in Chicago

The innovative work of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner will be showcased at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP)’s annual conference in Chicago this month.

A unique film produced especially for the conference – available to view below – highlights the progress being made in Northamptonshire on integrating police and fire services, as well as using volunteers in policing with the recruitment of Special Constables.

Police and Crime Commissioner Adam Simmonds said:

“It’s a tribute to the great work being done in Northamptonshire that the IACP though this appropriate to showcase at what is a world-renowned conference, and I look forward to hearing the feedback of attendees about the pioneering work that is taking place in our county.”
