New PCC meets with Northamptonshire Police Chief Constable

New PCC Stephen Mold with Northamptonshire Police Chief Constable Simon Edens

Stephen Mold (above right), the newly elected Police and Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire, met with Northamptonshire Police Chief Constable Simon Edens this morning (Thursday 12th May) on his first day in office.

Mr Mold and Chief Constable Edens discussed the future of Northamptonshire Police over the next four years as the new PCC begins his term.

It was great to meet with Chief Constable Edens their morning and begin what I hope will be a long and successful partnership,” said Mr Mold.

“It’s only day one of a four-year term so obviously there’s plenty for the Chief Constable and I to discuss over the coming weeks and months, however I’m delighted to have started that process and look forward to working with the Chief Constable and his team to make Northamptonshire safer.”
