Northamptonshire Police Fire and Crime Commissioner Stephen Mold and Assistant Chief Constable Simon Blatchly are setting up their stall in Northampton to meet local people and hear what they have to say about policing in the county.
OnFriday April 12, Stephen and Simon will be in the upper mall of the Grosvenor Centre (near the lifts), Northampton, between 11.30am and 1.30pm. Everyone is invited to come along for a chat, to ask questions about policing and community issues, raise any general concerns and queries and give feedback.
Northamptonshire Police and Crime Commissioner Stephen Mold said: “I represent the voice of the people of Northamptonshire in policing and I want to make it as easy as possible for people to share their views with me. When we held a similar event in Northampton last year and a tremendous number of people came along to chat, which both the Chief Constable and I found useful.
“Simon and I are really looking forward to meeting people and hearing what really matters to them. I’m grateful to the management of both the Grosvenor Centre once again, for giving us this opportunity to be seen in such a busy location.”
Assistant Chief Constable Simon Blatchly, said: “It’s really important to me that Northamptonshire Police officers are accessible and at the heart of the community they serve. I’m keen for people who are in Northampton on April 12 to stop by with any questions or comments they have about policing.”
